Honing tool with radially adjustable stones - has central double cone which engages with edges of blocks carrying stones

The honing tool is built up fram an end ring (2) a mounting sleeve (3) and distance pieces. Radial slots are machined in the faces of ring and sleeve which face one another. The distance pieces are mounted between the sleeve and the ring and secured in position by fixing rings which are shrunk over the ring and the sleeve. Radial gaps remain between the distance pieces, in which mounting blocks (19) for the honing stones (20) are placed. - Two cones (21) are mounted inside the homing tool and lie against edges of the mounting blocks. The radial position of the mounting blocks with honing stones are adjusted by adjusting the axial position of the cones. The mounting blocks are spring loaded against the cones by spring rings
