Prefabricated staircase using standardised components - has steps on horizontal stringer sections screwed to alternating vertical sections

The staircase, which can be assembled from prefabricated components, is esp. suitable for installation in domestic buildings combining an attractive appearance with low cost. The steps are screwed to a central stringer, made up from horizontal and vertical sections (2, 3) of the same number as the steps (1). These sections alternating, are interconnected by screws (4), the steps being borne on the flat sided horizontal sections (2). The vertical sections (3) serve to provide stable connection of the horizontal ones, in combination with screws fitted in them which pass through the top of the section below and the bottom of the one above.
