The wires (2) of cables connecting the telephone componens are connected by their free ends provided with resilient contacts (13) to contact blades (4) on the circuit board (1), while some of the wires are provided with blade contacts (9, 10). They are clamped by the resilient contacts (3) together with blade contacts (4) on the circuit board. The removable component may contain a group of resilient contacts in a small rectangular block, each segment of the block retaining an individual wire from the connecting cable. The block may have attached to it a small projecting shoulder to facilitate gripping by the fingers.
