The circuit board fits into a housing comprising a base and is protected by covers (2a, 2b). The underside (3) of the base has lateral lips (4) on its long sides, each lip having an inward facing groove (5) running along its entire length. This groove allows the housing to be slid (7) onto the appropriate carrier plate (6). The ends of the base also have lips (8a, 8b) which are provided with projections (10a, 10b) to act as locating clips when the housing is pushed in to position on the carrier. One of the lips (8a) may be partially separated (9) from the base (3) to give a measure of elasticity.
