Laminated construction heat retentive crockery - has alternate elevations and depressions at rim edge for interlocking by rotation

The item of heat retentive crockery consists of two equal shell type half sections which fit together by their outer edges using a system of elevations and depressions cut into the edges of the half sections. The half sections (1) are constructed in a circular pattern with a regular elevated (5) and depressed (6) edge section around their peripheries. The design of the edge is such that a relative rotation of less than 20 deg. is sufficient to interlock the shell half sections. The crockery carries heat insulating particles (8) in the gap between its inner and outer shells.
