Turnover moulding machine, where a hoist lifts a moulding box off a trolley so the box can be clamped on a pattern plate mounted on the turnover frame. A plastic foil is first placed on the box which is fed under a heater to the hoist; vacuum pipes run through the bearings and trunnions carrying the turnover frame, which has vacuum pipes for drawing the plastic foil onto the pattern Above the frame is a pipe for filling the moulding box with binder-free sand; and the trolley is fitted with vacuum connections for evacuating the filled moulding box. The turnover moulding machine is designed for making binder-free sand moulds using plastic foil patterns.
