Multichannel radio transmitter or receiver - has selector switch using two place binary coded decimals and connected to digital adder

The multichannel trans receiver has an oscillator circuit which choose one of a set of discrete channel frequencies on receiving from a control device binary control signals for a channel selection. The control unit has a two-binary coded decimal code switch (1). This selects the required channels, indicates the selected channel and generates code signals allocated to the selected channel. A digital adder (13) is connected to the code switch and converts the code signal into pure binary code signals switching the oscillator.
