The releasable lock is partic. for the swivable shovel on a loading crane. On releasing the lock the shovel tips under the weight of the load carried and after emptying swivels back automatically into the initial position. The tool carries a retention pin (5) which lies parallel to the tilt axis and engages in the jaw (6) of a coupling lever (7). A locking lever (9) is joined to the coupling by a short link (8) and can be swivelled into the release position mechanically or electromagnetically. A spring (13) is attached at one end to a web plate (10) and at the other end to the locking lever. The coupling and locking levers are mounted between two sheets (10) welded on a transverse pipe (2).
