Indoor wall tiles fixture system - uses carrier panel plugged into perforated mesh drilled into wall or laths

The fixture system for wall tiles, in living-rooms, kitchens, bathrooms or elsewhere uses low-cost materials and does not need skilled labour. A previously perforated and stiffened carrier holed mesh (4) of plastics, is applied to the roughly rendered internal wall or lathe work by drilling. Carrier buttons, in the form of clamping lugs (2) are used for inlaying or pressing the wall-tile support panel (1) into this mesh. The support panel may be fitted with guideway borders (3). The holes (7) in the perforated mesh can lie inside and outside the stiffener units (5). A clamped covering batten may be used to terminate the tiling at the top end.
