Time switching arrangement advanced by large time counting steps controls switching position change of one or more switching outputs. A time step generator emits time step criteria of a constant measure of time. It maintains the time path determining the switching moments in cyclic rotation with a number of steps given for the individual time path. Displacement of each individual time path and thus of the switching programme is obtained by means of switching elements. From each switching element provided for displacement of the step adjustment an additional criterion is derived for putting right the time step generator.
