Cross-linked phthalic acid diallyl ester moulding cpds - from prepolymers mfrd in absence of a carrier phase

In mfre. of cross-linked moulding cpds. of pre-polymd. diallylphthalates (I), with subsequent cross-linking, the prepolymn. of (I) is effected free of a carrier phase (II) e.g. solvent, chain transfer agents, in presence of monoallylesters (III) of mono- or dicarboxylic acids. Cumbrous removal of (II) is eliminated. (III) may be a terephthalic acid allyl 1-5C-alkylester.
