Anti-clumping agents for simple fertilisers and salts comprising one or more 7-30C alkylarylsulphonates and an alkali metal salt of a condensation prod. of a naphthalenesulphonic acid and formaldehyde. Pref. are 10-26C alkylarylsulphonates. The compsn. is pref. used at 0.01-0.2% w/w in the fertiliser or salt and pref. added with an inert diluent. Pref. mixts. contain 20-95% of alkylarylsulphonate and 80-5% of formol condensate. The compsn. is pref. sprayed on the fertiliser or salt which is then coated with substances such as chalk, talc, argile.
