The combating of corrosion with the help of alkyl benzoie acids salts Note II. The testing of the sodium salts of p-tertbntyl benzole acid as corrosion inhibitor

摘要

In the present paper, the sodium salts of para-tert-butyl-benzoic acid was tested as corrosion inhibitor on three metals: aluminum, iron, and copper. The testing were made in an antifreeze liquid (ethylene alcohol ― water in ratio 1: 1). The experimental works followed the determination of the optimal concentration of corrosion inhibitor that can assure corresponding protection of the tested metals.
