Anti-clumping compsns for fertilizers - comprising mixts of alkylarylsulphonates and sodium salts of condensates of naphthalenesulphonic acids with formaldehyde

Anti-clumping agents for cpd. fertilisers comprising =1 alkylarylsulphonates of (7-30)C together with an alkali metal salt of a condesn. prod. of a naphthalene sulphonic acid with formaldehyde. Pref. are (10-26)C alkylarylsulphonates. The compsn. is pref. used at 0.01-0.2% w/w in the fertiliser and pref. added together with an inert diluent. Pref. mixts. contain 20-95% of alkylarylsulphonate and 80-5% of formol condensate. The compsn. is pref. sprayed on the fertiliser which is then coated with substances such as talc, chalk, argile.
