Call simulator for communications exchange testing - has circuits with facilities for listening and dialling tests

Semiconductor circuits comprising the call generator are housed in a case with operating controls on the front panel. Jack sockets enable connections to be made to calling and called circuits. Other sockets permit connections to an amplifier and loudspeaker for listening tests. Manual selector switches connected to counter circuits permit the setting up of numbers for dialling tests. The number of figures transmitted is selected by a number selector switch which blocks additional numbers in automatic sequences. Operating sequences such as permanent cycling may be chosen using a sequence selector switch.
