Each shelf (11) comprises a flat surface, with or without upturned sides, and is used to display the goods. The two side edges are welded to tubular sections (9) forming parts of the hinge assemblies. The tubular sections are positioned over vertical rods (8), with separate spacers (10) fitted between to provide the required shelf configuration, either staggered in height or level and in line, the assembly forming a complete articulation. The vertical rods fit into tubes (7) which are welded to transverse feet (4, 5, 6) to provide a standing support. If required, each foot has wheels to provide mobility in use.
