The tyre inner tube removal and fitting machine is for inflated partitioned tubes. A rectangular steel gantry (1) supports a hydraulic double-acting ram (2) about a pivot in the top gantry beam (3). An adjustment screw (4) with handle (5) screws into an articulated nut on the same beam and is used to vary the angle of the ram. The tyre rests on a dished plate (12) fixed to the base of the frame, and has shoes (17) which clamp the tyre in place. A tube guiding plate (33) projects up the centre of the dish, and the arm of the ram carries either a hook or a pressure plate (11) for removal and fitting respectively.
