The grass cutter consists of a chassis (1) with axle and two wheels (2) preferably at the back. Two uprights (4) from the chassis (1) lean backwards and are joined by a handle (3). A motor (5) drives the mower. On the bottom of the chassis (1) are three shafts (6) each with a circular blade (7) on the bottom. A guide-wheel (8) which can preferably be adjusted in height is pivot-mounted at the front of the chassis (1). Control levers (9.10.11) are fixed with uprights or handle. The circular blade (7) has at least one cutting edge (12), preferably about eight. Each cutting edge (12) does not jut out from the circular blade. The circular blades (7) are fixed to the vertical shafts by means of a V-belt, chain or similar means.
