The playing cards form a complete pack and have an identifying shape to enable reversed cards to be noted immediately. Reversed cards have their face side uppermost instead of their back, this being prohibited in certain card games. Each card has a rhomboid shape, this having opposite sides parallel but adjacent sides not at right angles. The angles formed are alternately obtuse, and acute. If a card is reversed, one diagonal pair of corners will project and stand proud to show this. Alternatively, two diagonal corners of a standard rectangle shape may be radiused to provide the same effect.
