This sand is thrown from above by the rotating sand throwers downwards with high force against the moulded blanks. - Excess sand falls through the bottom grid and this sand is returned to the lifting buckets. The two rotating sand throwers (2) rotate in opposite directions to ensure covering both sides of moulded blank.
