Circular form condensation chamber with particular application to nuclear power station installations in which the chamber incorporates parallel tracks with motorised carriages which can be circumferentially traversed and orientated at selected locations between the radially disposed tube banks. Collapsible man-access platforms are lowered by the motorised carriage mounted winches to required heights above the water seal to enable inspection and maintenance of the tube banks to be effected.
