Differently shaped supporting fins are attached to the side of the body of a model boat or plane by releasable fastening means (4, 5) with replaceable filler member (11) which is inserted between the side of the body and the end face (3) of the supporting fin and which consists of a central portion (12) in the gap between the two components, and a surrounding aerodynamically shaped surface portion (13) which covers the gap. Pref., the central portion consists of central webs (14) which reinforce the surface portion, leaving openings (15, 16, 17) for passage of the fastening means between body and supporting fin (2).
