Solvent contaminated waste gas cleaner - monitors factors affecting cleaning by burning off combustible components

An instrument for monitoring the process for cleaning industrial waste gases by burning, especially in the case of air contaminated by solvent vapours, makes possible a check of the factors of influence affecting the purity of the final after-burner product. The gases are taken to a cylindrical combustion chamber (2) through a preheater with a regulated heater section (9) and a measuring section (8) for determination of the gas flow rate. The gases from the combustion chamber are taken to a reaction chamber (3) which has a cover (38) with an aperture (4) through which a temperature sensor and a gas sampling probe can be inserted, so that all the parameters can be checked during the combustion process.
