Surveying rod carrying device - has quiver type container with belt and hook fitting round bars

The bar supporting and carrying equipment is particularly for alignment rods used by surveyors. It comprises a quiver-type container, to which one end of a supporting belt is fixed. The other end of the belt has an open hook, of cross-section such as to fit round the container. The hook can be coated, on the inside at least, with rubber or non-slip plastic. The bars can be inserted at one end into the container, and accommodated in a loose bundle in the hook, so that this supports them roughly two-thirds of the way along from the ends in the container. The loose bundle of bars can be divided into groups by spring hooks each fitting round several bars at a time.
