Multiple traffic light unit - uses large numbers of optical fibres to form light source of any one optical unit and has focussing lens

A light signal system is pref. for multiple light units. They have their optical systems arranged inside a housing consisting of at least one light source, a focussing lens and a shut-off pane such as a diffuser pane used especially together with a colour filter as a traffic signal. Each optical system is equipped with several light sources (9). The are distributed at random on the focal plane (B) of the focussing lens (12). The light ends (9) of the light conductors (8) which receive light at their other ends (7) from a light bulb (4) form the light source of any one optical system.
