The network has a potential isolating capacitor, and the transmission system operates on a coaxial cable. The repeater is supplied with d.c. through the cable inner conductor, and repeater case is connected to the cable outer conductor, forming a complete screen. The repeater consists of two individually screened amplifiers, one for each transmission direction. Their individual screen, connected to the amplifier reference potential, is mounted as an inner case in the outer case. Each inner case is connected for a. c. with outer case by a capacitor. Potential isolating capacitor in a plate capacitor, whose one electrode consists of at least a part of the outer case (1) wall, and the other of a part of the inner case (3) wall at a small distance from the outer case wall. An insulating dielectric is provided between the two electrodes.
