Household hot air cabinet clothes drier - given a second working mode, used for drying single items

The top cover of the cabinet opens on a hinge to expose a non-airtight screen on which single items of clothing may be laid to be dried. The screen is pref. a metal wire or expanded metal mesh, covered by a woven or felted cloth or cloths (without the cloth, the hot air would pass through the screen but not the item of clothing). Opening the cover to bring the single-item working mode into use, pref. moves a shutter across the normal hot air circulation.
