Anti-theft ignition lock for car - isolates ignition inside engine compartment and locks bonnet to prevent starting of engine

The anti-theft protection for the car has a press button on the dashboard which isolates the ignition system inside the engine compartment as well as locking the compartment. The lock (12) is released with insertion of the ignition key. An additional protection can be provided by a further link cable (9) to lock the rear boot. The vehicle cannot be started by shorting out the ignition switch nor can the bonnet be raised for access to the engine. It gives greater security than steering column locks which can be forced.
