摘要
Herbicides for selective control of wild oats (Avena fatua) in cereal crops contain (a) methyl 3-(p-chlorophenyl)-2-chloropropionate (I); (b) surfactant; and (c) paraffinic mineral oil. The application rate required for effective control is up to 30% lower than when (I) is used without components (b) and/or (c). The application rate is 0.5-20 (beta ref. 2-15)kg/ha. The wt. ratio of (a) to (b) is pref. 1:0.3-0.8, and the wt. ratio of (a) to (c) is pref. 1-0.5-1.75. Component (b) can be an opt. polyoxyethylated sorbitan fatty acid ester, a polyoxyethylated alkyl or alkylaryl ether, an alkyl polyglycol ether or a siloxane oil. Suitable mineral oils are "Actipron" and "BP Energol WT 61" (RTM'S).
