Optically-stimulating carbocyanine dye solns. - with laser emission of continuous wave signal pumping lasers, for use in near IR spectral range

Carbocyanine dyestuffs are used at 10-6 - 10-1 mole/l as stimulatable medium in optically excited continuous wave signal colour lasers with unrestricted flowing agent stream. Their optical stimulation is achieved by using the laser emission of continuous wave signal pumping lasers e.g. Kr ion-, Nd YAG lasers and other colour lasers. Coherent laser emission can be achieved in a continuous wave signal in near infrared spectral range. Use of different carbocyanine dyes and of different wave-lengths of continuous wave signal pumping laser, allows coverage of total near infrared range up to wave lengths 1 mu.
