Water vapour measurement in gases - using lithium chloride pick=up, under controlled temp. conditions between transformation temp. and dew point

The water vapour percentage in gases is measured by an Li Cl pick-up which is housed in a conductive tube with a gas-permeable end. The end of the tube which does not penetrate into the gas space has heating and cooling means to ensure that the gas temp. around the pick-up does not rise above the transformation temp. nor drops below the dew point. Provides a simple way of ensuring that the Li Cl pick-up can be used for measuring over a wide range of gas temps. without exceeding the transformation of Li Cl nor dropping below the dew point.
