Process for preparing water-soluble dyes, in particular reactive dyes, which are obtained in a granular form and which have a low dust content. To an aqueous paste of the dyes is added, prior to the spray-drying, an anionic surface-active agent and a water-soluble polymer, the granules containing from 0.1 to 20 % by weight of the anionic surface-active agent and from 0.1 to 4 % by weight of the water-soluble polymer.
