A binary coded signal transmitter (E) produces signals which respectively correspond to the different data of the poll. An amplifier recieves the signals and delivers them as amplified signals on a parallel line arrangement. A matrix memory (3) has column inputs connected to the respective output lines of the writing amplifier. An advancing circuit (4) of the memory is connected to the line inputs of the memory so as to permit automatic writing into a new line of the memory when the preceding line is filled, so as to record successively poll data in different memory lines. Data may be directly accessed by disconnecting the memory from the amplifier and advancing circuit and connecting it directly to the inputs of a data processing and reading device (LT).
