The plastic tub is for packaging soft cheese which exudes liquid. The tub has grooves or channels moulded into its wall. The channels can be deep over half the circumference and shallow over the other half. The material is transparent, and the shallow channels do not interfere with the transparency. The depth of the deep channels can be between 1.1 and 1.5mm. Their cross-sectional area is between 2 and 3.5 mm2. Their width is not greater than 5mm. When a number of such tubs are assembled together they are arranged so that the shallow channels are outwards.
