The dental device mounted between the upper and lower teeth so as to correct their position with respect to each other, is attached to the lower teeth by a conventional hinged bridging piece. Attached to each end of the bridge are two springs, one each side. Each spring is connected by an anchorage at the other end to the upper teeth. This includes a stirrup held against the end of the spring by a screw passing through both. The extremity of the stirrup is attached to the palate by a split pin.
