1527294 Decorating compositions for ceramics ENGELHARD MINERALS & CHEMICALS CORP 27 Sept 1976 [29 Sept 1975] 39976/76 Heading C4A [Also in Division C7] A decorating composition for producing a bright white metal appearance after being fired on ceramics comprises: (a) a soluble metallo-organic compound of platinum; (b) a soluble metalloorganic compound of silver in an amount sufficient to produce a white metal decoration in combination with the amount of platinum in the compound (a); (c) a metallo-organic flux compound for platinum and silver; and (d) a vehicle; the weight ratio of the platinum to silver being in the range of 4:1 to 9:1, and the compounds of platinum and silver and the flux compound being soluble in the vehicle.
