Concrete distance cone forming system on bar - pours into mould with bottom movable axially after which cone is vibrated free

The system forms a truncated concrete distance cone on a bar fitting in an axial bore in the cone and having a transverse plate fixed to it acting as a stop for the large end of the cone. The concrete (6) is poured into a mould (1), whose bottom (2) is movable in the axial direction. A plunger (8) extends axially through bottom and mould, its shape matching that of the cone bore not accommodated by the bar end (3', 5). The latter is pressed onto the plunger so as to thrust it downwards until the plate (4) closes the mould, the bottom being at the same time thrust upwards to compress the concrete between them. The bottom, cone and bar with plate are then lifted after releasing the formed cone from the top end of the plunger, after which the cone is vibrated free of the mould and the bar with cone are finally removed upwards. Plunger and bottom are then returned to their raised and lowered starting positions respectively.
