EXTENDED LIFE END BITSFOR BULLDOZER BLADESA B S T R A C TAn end bit for selective and adjustable mountingto an earthmoving vehicle structure, such as a bulldozerblade, having opposite corner portions. The bit includestransversely extending cutting edge portions and amounting portion adapted to be selectively mounted toeither of the opposite corners of the blade with one or theother of the cutting edges exposed in cutting positionand with the non-exposed cutting edge disposed in a re-tracted position. The mounting portion is further adaptedto permit the bit to be selectively repositioned on eitherblade corner portion in any one of a plurality of differentextended positions to compensate for wear of the exposedcutting edge.
