Anti-freeze applicator for hydraulic systems - has ram-piston with pressure-charged reaction surface

The applicator esp. for vehicles has a ram piston, guided in a housing. The piston passes through the pressure conduit, and may be manually axially adjusted and fixed. The piston is surrounded by a wick, projecting into the chamber, which is filled with antifreeze. A seal is fastened to the piston, to seal the chamber against the pressure conduit. The piston has a reaction surface, charged by the pressure in the conduit, to move it into its operating position. In the at-rest position, the reaction surface may be blocked by an element. When operating, the reaction surface has a pressure relief. The reaction surface forms a compensation chamber on the side of the housing away from the pressure conduit. In the operating position, the chamber is aerated, and evacuated, in the at-rest position.
