Bulk dryer using special travelling belt - has gap in belt moved from upper charging position to lower discharging position

The band (1) passing around suitable pulleys forms the drying chamber for galvanised parts. The space between the top and bottom strands receives hot air discharged from a duct (3). These parts are received only by the bottom strand. This band is not endless, but has the two ends secured by bridging pieces, leaving a gap between the two ends. The galvanised parts are then fed through the opening while in one belt position, this opening being at the top. The parts are then discharged at the bottom, at the other end of the chamber, by moving the belt.
