Proposed international standard electrical socket - has keys moving in guide slots and at least one closure bolt to prevent insertion of objects

The socket, for a proposed internation standard plug, has a safety arrangement preventing objects being inserted into its holes. Keys pass along guide paths and guide slots (6) and at least one of them has a closure bolt (12). The guide paths and slots are fixed into a semi-open or closable sleeve (18) such that the whole safety system forms an independent unit which can be fixed to the socket's cover after the socket has been installed.
