Biased mesh support for chair or bed frames - has loop ends of plastics bands held secure by flat fastening hooks

The biased mesh cover consists of criss-cross filaments. These filaments are formed from known flat bands (4, 5) which are made of extruded plastics or the like. They loop round the frame struts where they are fastened by flat hooks (8) which are hung from the bands once the ends of the latter have been placed round the struts. The flat hook can be made from a thin plate having a closed slot (7) for the band loop which extends across the longitudinal extension of the band. The plate also has a hook slit (10) which is open on one side so that it can be pushed sideways onto an area of the band. Theis means that no holes which could cause corrosion are necessary in the struts.
