The fuel economy system is for internal-combustion engines. The mixture of fuel and combustion oxygen is weakened as regards the fuel content and the resultant rise in combustion temp. is counteracted by additional cooling. Any tendency to knocking can be counteracted by advancing the ignition. There can be an additional radiator (3) connected in parallel to the main one (2), the connection (9) to it from the top of the main one being controlled by a thermost at valve (8). The additional radiator can be of the same size as the main one.
