An adjustable chair offers three different adjustments including a changeable seat inclination, changed seat angle and with a foot support adjustable by a rod system from a first to a second position opposite the seat itself. The seat rods consist of two link rods having a linked scissor type connection. The first rod is linked to the frame (1) with its end section directed backwards, whilst the second rod (6) with its end section pointing forwards is both length adjustable to a limited extent on the frame as well as having a swivel bearing around an axle link (8). The seat (2) and the back (3) have a hinge type attachment on the transverse sides facing each other.
