Energy conversion system with tensioned spans and joints - uses sliding contacts in road surfaces, with inlaid tension elements

The system is for converting potential energy stored in bar pressure or bar tension springs into directed pressure forces as in the main patent with possibility of restoring lost or diminished potential energy, or automatically regulating it in wedge-shaped clamping devices. Sliding contact joints are formed in surface elements, preferably in road and other traffic route surfaces, inclined to the surface axis. Tension elements are laid in these, not connected to the two surface sections, but with their ends alternately anchored to them both. The tension element may cross the joint gap at a flat angle, instead of being laid in it.
