The clod-breaking roller comprises rotatable discs (1, 2) of two different diameters and arranged alternately on one or several support shafts. The larger-diameter discs (1) are concentric with the shaft, the smaller-diameter discs (2) being eccentrically mounted to the same extent on the shaft. The discs are rotatably mounted on pairs of hubs (6, 7) provided with square openings engaged by the square-section shaft. The ends of the shaft are supported by flanges (5) adjustably clamped to the chassis (4) in order to vary the working depth of the discs.
