Analysis of aq. soln. for mineral and organic content - involves electrolysis at reference temp. and pH levels

A method is used for analysing the mineral and organic elements present in an aq. soln. A sample of soln. is selected and adjusted to a preset pH and temp. The sample is placed in an electrolysis chamber having three electrodes; a reference potential electrode; an auxiliary electrode; and a "turning" electrode. A predetermined periodic signal is applied to the "turning" electrode while the intensity of the electrolysis current flowing in the analysis chamber between the "turning" electrode and auxiliary electrode is recorded.
