A method of degermination of corn in a device comprising a cylindrical working cage with an inlet port and an outlet orifice as well as a rotor arranged in this cage. /P P The process consists in pushing and dividing the dry or wet corn in a cylindrical annular working chamber by swirling it using pallets 16 rotating rapidly and fixed in large numbers on a rotor 1 and in detaching the germs from the endosperm by the outwardly oriented ridges of the pallets. /P P Application to the treatment of corn in grain for its use in brewing or in the food industry.
