FORMING METHOD FOR CUTTOFF MEMBRANE TO SIDE OF CAVITY OF EXCAVATED RESERVOIR

PURPOSE:To prevent infiltration of water due to swell caused when an emulsion includes water by a method wherein an emulsion admixture is infiltrated on the wall or bottom of an excavated reservoir and a cut-off remembrane is formed. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion admixture in form of cement paste is produced by adding some portion of Portland cement and silica sand to a mixed liquid of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymerization, corboxyl cellulose and water. This admixture of emulsion is poured into a soil S and dried and a water-proof membrane is formed. This water-proof membrane A is composed of a primary 1 and a secondary water- proof membrane 2, diameters of molecules of an emulsion P' grow on account of swelling due to poured water and make a complete cut-off membrane.
