The invention relates to a fastening device for anchoring objects at bases against surfaces of same facing away from the working side, in particular against such surfaces which are difficult to access, said fastening device generally consisting of an elongate body 12, intended for abutting with its face against the surface 32 of a base 10 facing away from the working side, as well as an essentially from the centre of the body protruding elongate, flexible fastening means 13 for locking the object to the base. The fastening device is characterised in that the elongate body 12 has an essentially chute-shaped cross section with at least one crosswise slit 15 through the centre portion of one of the delimiting walls of the body, whereby the fastening means 13 extends through the slit 15 and around an opposing edge face at a distance from the slit, and then through the slit 15 again, between the fastening means and the delimiting edge of the slit situated nearest to said edge face. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a fastening device, the method being characterised in manufacturing a rectangular sheet-shaped starting blank, and from two sides of same opposing each other, from and through the edges, forming orthogonally directed slits, aligned with each other, bending the side portions of said blank upwards at each of their bending lines which is in parallel with the respective side and situated forward of the respective slit in the central portion of the blank, for the formation of a chute-like, trapezium profile having the slitted edge flanges diverging from the central portion, re-forming the central portion into a form having a curved cross section and such that the edge flanges thereby are at least approaching each other with their longitudinal edges, placing a sling-shaped, wound fastening means 13 around one end of one edge flange between said end and the slit, so that the free end 14 of the fastening means 13 extends through the slit and is extending away from the central portion, and bending said one, sling-provided edge flange over the former, so that the fastening means 13 extends through its slit, and such that the edge flanges attain inter-parallel positions and delimit a predetermined, even gap 30.
